Wayward Dog Ranch?
Wayward Dog Ranch is a family owned 80 acre working ranch raising manily cattle, goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens that are utilized for many purposes including humanely raised organic meat, sustainable land management through rotational grazing practices, and natural fire prevention.
The moving parts involved in running a ranch smoothly provides many unique socialization opportunities for the dogs in our Board & Train program. We haven't met a dog that didn't absolutely love it here.
During your dogs stay we focus on building your dogs self confidence, and building behaviors over time that serve as strong foundational skills to reach our clients ultimate training goals. We love when our clients have specific goals like off leash hiking, bringing their dogs paddle boarding with them, or to a brewery, etc. When we do outings away from the ranch, we focus those outings based on your training goals by choosing locations like busy hiking spots, downtown areas, pet stores, etc to test your dogs skills in varying environments. We want our clients to leave their B&T ready to enjoy their lifestyle with their dogs in tow.
