​Wayward Dog Ranch is a family owned 80 acre working ranch raising manily goats, sheep, pigs, and chickens that are utilized for many purposes including humanely raised organic meat, sustainable land management through rotational grazing practices, and natural fire prevention. We also train dogs, of course- which is why we call it a DOG ranch. The moving parts involved in running a ranch smoothly not only provides many unique socialization opportunities for the dogs in our programs, but is also a fun and fulfilling environment for your dogs to be a part of during their stay. We haven't met a dog that didn't absolutely love it here.

 We think that every dog, young or old, regardless of breed or baggage can benefit from training. We believe that to have a great relationship with your dog you must have trust and respect going both ways. We build that kind of relationship through daily guidance and clarity in the little boring every day moments, but also by including them in adventures as much as possible so that we can truly build a best bud that's adaptable, confident, and looks to you for guidance in the tough moments and happy ones alike!
