meet the owners
Bonnie and Jason met in early 2024 and immediately became best friends after chatting about their love of training and understanding dogs, adventuring in the outdoors, pushing themselves mentally and physically through sports and exercise, their shared sense of humor, and love for their community.as their relationship grew they realized that they made an wonderful team together. so, when Jason had the opportunity to move from San Luis Obispo back to his families ranch in grass valley, he asked bonnie to come with him and move her dog training business to start a new adventure together. wayward dog ranch is a product of bonnie and Jasons combined knowledge, creative effort, and hard work. they hope to build a beautiful and supportive community in their new home.
a little about us
bonnie started out her dog business ownership with a pack hiking business in san Luis Obispo in 2016 called slo dog adventures. from there the business steadily grew into a well known and loved dog training business that served her hometown for 8 amazing years. when given the opportunity to move to grass valley with Jason, she sold sda to a long time client of hers, and moved on to create wayward dog ranch, bringing along with her all of that great experience, knowledge, expertise, and love for dogs + helping thier owners.
