Good Time Haver/Behind-the-Scenes Get Shit Done-r.

Jason has always had a way with animals and is an absolute "people person". He's the happy go lucky life of the party and also the person bringing to life all of the never-ending ranch project ideas that Bonnie comes up with. 

Bonnie and Jasons trusty steeds. 

Grit is a 5 yr old blue roan Mustang from the South Steen's BLM in Oregon. Grit is wild and spirited but also very gentle, trusting, and curious.

Pancho is a 5 yr Pinto who has an unknown history but is a very calm and levelheaded sweetheart. 

Both horses love dogs and are safe and neutral to client dogs, dogs we pass on trails, etc. This makes them perfect additions to our ranch and training team!

Good Ol Girl.

Jade is 10 years old and still full of energy and a zest for life. For many years she was Bonnies only dog and helped with every training session + went on every adventure attached to Bonnies hip. She is an invaluable member of our team. We are so happy she gets to come live her golden years on our ranch!

Mini Malinois.

If pepper could talk she would say "Don't underestimate us  little dogs". She's a tough and spunky 8lb athlete who can keep up with the best of them. She's got a lot of heart, and a lot of personality. If you see us out and about- look down around Bonnies ankles and you'll be sure to see her there in stride!

Just happy to be here.

Willies full name is Willie Nelson. Mom is a big fan. He is the dog that everyone loves- Dog and Human alike & he loves everyone right back! You can always catch him with a smile on his face and some intense eye contact that shows his beautiful kind soul. Willie is our main demo dog these days so If you work with us, you'll meet him!

Kong Addict.

Ronin has a "real job" as Jasons K9 partner for work. When he's not working he's dreaming about working or he is following Jason around the ranch carrying a stick the size of his body weight and trying to take your knees out with it. 

Ranch Guardian.

Dove is an integral part of our ranch. She is friendly, playful, sweet, and calm. She's usually the first to greet you when you arrive at our ranch with her classic full body weight lean on your legs move. By day she hangs out with us on the ranch as we move about, by night she is a fierce protector of our livestock.

Resident hunters.

We have 3 "kittens" on the ranch. They're friendly & fearless with the dogs that come through our programs which helps us desensitize and socialize, and teach manners. They hunt the gophers which allows our lawns to stay nice and hole free, plus keep other rodents away which in turn keeps snakes away! As hard as they work, they also equally chill. If you visit the ranch you're likely to see one of them hanging around.

These sheep are a "Hair Sheep" variety which means they shed their wool rather than needing to be sheared. Their breed is known for being very hearty in all types of terrain and weather, as well as producing mild meat. We use our flock as part of our rotational grazing on our ranch t & to help with fire prevention. We also process a couple per year to fill our freezers.

Belly scratch/mud puddle fanatics.

Our pigs are being raised to help us with our rotational grazing on the ranch, to eat our food scraps and garden scraps to reduce waste, and some of them are meat pigs that we will process to fill our freezer throughout the year. We try to be as sustainable as possible and these pigs are one step closer to that dream! They're also so funny and fun to have around and bring us lots of joy.

We have a herd of 11 Nigerian Dwarf goats that we call the "Wayward Goatscapers". These little guys are not only cute as heck, but they also help keep the weeds and brush down on our property so that our dogs, and clients dogs don't have to worry about navigating stickers, poison oak, etc. They also help us by being friendly and neutral to dogs so that your pups can learn about livestock!

Our 12 chickens are so loved and cared for here. We LOVE watching them scratch around and just be the happiest critters. They're neutral to dogs and very trusting. We (safely) use them to help us create that same neutrality in our clients dogs. And who knows, if you come visit the ranch you may go home with a carton of their eggs if you're lucky!
